Terms of Use
These terms apply to the RioStudio app and service operated by RioReply ("we"). Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the app as well; where they differ, these terms add to it. By using RioStudio you agree to both. Contact: info@rioreply.app.
The service
RioStudio writes a short narration script from your topic with AI, lets you edit it, and renders a vertical video with AI-generated images, narration, captions, music and sound. Results are generated automatically and can be inaccurate, odd or similar to other people's results. Check facts before you rely on or publish a video.
Content rules
You may not use RioStudio to create, or try to create, content that:
- is illegal, or promotes illegal or dangerous activity;
- is sexual, or sexualises or endangers minors in any way;
- is hateful, harassing, threatening or promotes self-harm or graphic violence;
- depicts or impersonates real people, living or dead;
- uses brands, trademarks, logos or franchise characters you do not have the right to use;
- misleads people in harmful ways, for example fake news or scams.
We filter topics and scripts automatically and may refuse a request, remove content, withhold credits obtained by abuse, or stop providing the service to an install that breaks these rules.
Your videos
You may use, download and share the videos you make, subject to these rules and other people's rights. You are responsible for how you use them. You give us the permission we need to store, process and render your content to provide the service.
Credits
- Rendering a video costs credits, shown in the app before you start. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred and are not refundable for money.
- If a render fails, its credits are returned automatically. Cancelling a render that has not started returns its credits; cancelling one already in progress returns them a limited number of times per day.
- Free videos carry a watermark. Free credits (welcome credits and rewarded ads) are limited per day and per network.
Subscriptions
- RioStudio Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) sold through Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation, and it renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds for purchases are handled by Apple.
- Pro includes a monthly credit allowance (shown in the app), no watermark, and Pro-only features such as fully animated videos and narration in languages other than English. Unused allowance credits stay in your balance.
Availability
We try to keep RioStudio running but do not guarantee it is always available, error-free or that a render will finish in a particular time. We may change or end features.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for RioStudio in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do. Continuing to use RioStudio after an update means you accept it.
